HELLO! It’s a simple word for us to say. In our mission community, “hello” and “how are you?” are the first steps out of poverty and a path to a better life. Each year the Dominican Republic hosts ten million tourists. Most of them are American and visit resorts forty minutes from Higuey (the home of our mission communities). The ability to speak English is a ‘home run’ and the way to get a better, higher paying job in the resorts for those living in Higuey. READ MORE BELOW
