- We build 10 homes every year. Each home is 22’x24’ and is made of cinder block walls with a tin roof. Each home has running water, a shower and toilet – while these may seem obvious, in the Dominican, these three things are a privilege.
- We bring families from the ‘tin cities’ along the river, where they live in small, run down tin shacks with no running water and if there is an actual toilet, it is shared by 5-25 other families.
- We believe that by providing good, hard working parents with safe and affordable housing that we can end the cycle of generational poverty.
