Mission Possible has helped to change the lives of thousands of individuals within the mission community for nearly 15 years. Together, we have been able to lift some of the poorest individuals in the world out of poverty. This would not be possible without the generous support of our donors and
sponsors.

In the past year alone, we have helped to:

• Build 15 new houses to take individuals living in tin shacks and give them a new start
• Developed an English as a second language program in order to offer over 150 students the opportunity to develop language skills in order to get higher paying jobs
• Completed medical and dental clinics that each saw over 500 patients in order to provide necessary medical and dental care
• Provided maintenance on nearly 120 existing homes
• Provided job training for community members

This is just a small snapshot of the work that Mission Possible does. However, in order to continue to provide life changing programs and opportunities for some of the poorest of the poor, we need your financial support.

There are three ways in which you can help:

1. General Support

Operating a mission community costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Your support will help in a number of ways: from developing job training to building houses to offering programs to enrich the lives of students. Your support of the General Fund will help to change the lives of thousands of individuals each year.

2. Program Support

Mission Possible provides community members a variety of opportunities. You may choose to support an individual program. Descriptions of several key programs can be found below.

Construction & Preventative Maintenance
Mission Possible has developed over 120 houses. With an average cost of $10,000 per house, this is Mission Possible’s largest expense each year. Your support will go to the development of additional houses and the maintenance of current properties and infrastructure.

English as a Second Language – Puente Program
In Mission Possible’s current session of the Puente Program, we have over 120 students (ranging from elementary students to adults). This program aids individuals in our communities and the surrounding area in developing skills in order to gain salaried employment – a huge step to get out of poverty. Your support will be used to provide additional individuals the opportunity to join the program. Additionally, support will be used to provide students with supplies and additional class offerings.

Financial Literacy
Financial literacy and economic opportunities are vital for families to escape poverty. Mission Possible is in the process of developing a financial literacy program within the communities. Your donation would be used to help initiate this necessary program.

Medical
Each year there are a minimum of two medical clinics – one medical and one dental. Each of these clinics sees over 500 patients. Your donation would be used to help provide additional clinics, medicine, and treatments to some of the poorest of the poor.

Women’s Empowerment – Proposito
Proposito helps to provide young women in the community health and wellness, safety, and educational opportunities. Additionally, this program provides mentorship to individuals within the program. Your donation would be used to fund scholarships and other opportunities for young adult women in the
communities.

3. Gala Sponsorship

Each year, we host our annual Grand Slam Gala at Progressive Field. This night hosts nearly 200 people in order to support Mission Possible and the individuals we support in Higuey. Consider becoming a sponsor for the event in order to support a great cause!
