Community Life

Community Life is an essential pillar to our two Mission Communities in Higuey. Things we take for granted so often in the United States, like fields, rec centers, courts and places to gather together as a community are hard to come by in the Dominican. We put a focus on Community Life by building the physical space for people to come together and by facilitating community programming

• • Since our first trip in 2007 we have built: 
    • 3 community centers
    • 1 Church
    • 1 baseball field
    • 1 school

• • We regularly plan and implement 
    • Baseball Clinics for over 300 local boys and girls
    • Vacation Bible School sessions
    • English Lessons 
    • Community gatherings for holidays, birthdays and other special occasions
